Lift-3" front, 2" back....can you run 285's on factory wheels without rubbing or is the factory offset wrong? And 70's vs 75's. Thanks

I think you need a min 7.5” and factory wheels are 16x7.

No cab mount chop yet, only rubs full lock in reverse for me. Every tire will have a different outcome due to itstrue size.

Stock wheels stock suspension. Only rub on the UCA when steering is maxed. You be fine with a 2 inch lift.

I believe your sr5 wheels have more offset, that is they stick out further and give more uca clearance. I believe stock off road wheels need spacers

Yes that is correct. My wheels are 0 offset and I believe off-road wheels are +25

That is BEAUTIFUL! Thats exactly the look I want except for the 285s (im gonna stay with 265s or go to 275s). That 2/1 looks so good IMO

Yes, it will rub unless you remove the mud flap and trim the plastic part at the front. Even if you remove the mud flap, it will rub. You must trim the plastic part. No way around it.

thanks. very pleased with the way it turned out and glad i don't have to do more modifications (cmc, other stuff).

i'm not doing crazy off road stuff like some/most on this site. i'm on ranch roads all the time but they're tame considered some of the stuff i see.

yours will look great with the 265s or 275s and you won't need spacers going that route. i almost did that but wanted a little more size.

Question - do the freedom UCAs allow you to run the 285s without the tire rubbing on the UCA? i have factory UCAs with 285s and needed 1.25 inch spacers to keep the tires from rubbing on them. i don't mind the spacers but would rather not have them if that is possible.

Thanks guys for this thread. I have an ARB suspension with 2.25” front / 2” rear with 265/75/17. I am gonna need tires in the near future but wasn’t sure about 285s.

Sr5 wheels are +25mm offset. Definitely not the case.

You need close to 0 or negative offset to clear ucas and cab mount

Long story short, you can't run 285s with 0 rub without unicorn wheels and some magic dusk. Or start cutting your taco up and get some new wheels
