Swapped out the Auto Shift Knob with one that I made.
I'm in the process of making a small batch that'll be for sale somewhere (I'm not near 50 posts here yet). Then another batch will follow.

I spent a lot more than I care to admit on a water port and bed rail mount. I tried it a couple times but found that anytime I went off road, the weight of a full water port bouncing around really wore down the contact points with the composite bed and metal mounts. It started rusting and bolts would fall out and get lost.

So instead of spending another $75-100 for a Waterport roof rack mount, I just found a way to mount it to my Victory 4x4 roof rack accessory mount.

I’m about to head out for a couple days in the GW National Forest with the family so we’ll see if this way holds up.

First - welcome to TW! You didn't have to wait 8 months to drop your first post but...

Second...wow! Nice first post. Those are great! Do you dye your own plywood or buy it? And if you're buying it...WHERE?!?! I've looked all over and not found what I specifically want, and I've wanted to do something like that.

Third - if you're keen on showing off stuff you made there's a thread for that.

    Thanks!

Thanks! I'll have to check out that thread! I swore I had posted before when I purchased my Tacoma but alas it seems I didn't.

The wood product has a few different names but this one is SpectraPly.

Swapped in the new smoked MESO V5 Sequential Turns to replace my fully blacked out TacoGarage ones. Much better color match to the Morimoto XB Headlights and I love how the sequential flows after the headlights now. I didn't hook up the DRL as I think that looks cheesy, but I dig the new look.

Lol I absolutely hate the look on the new Jeeps that have it. Granted Tacoma's look 5000000% better, but it's not for me lol.

I agree with you 100% on all points especially the DRL. I have the OEM LEDs but I love the color match and the fact these can match the reverse sequential. Another excellent product from MESO.

Unsure, but I assume it’s the elevated cabin temps that eventually fry the cams and not just direct UV but again I’m no expert. I did have 70% ceramic tint on the Infiniti windshield and 35% all around. Same as the Tacoma.

I have rain guards so my interior does not get that hot but I don't live in Texas so we don't see 100+ F temps either.

Then again they just might steal the truck for the cats... It's so bad in North NJ the local police are providing free acid etching on the cats for every vehicle. Sad world we live in!

So dumb they got rid of the driver cubby on the newer versions. Literally just unused space :/ I want to add one to my 21 but $$
