I don't know. out of 15 million im sure more have. But their record of reliability and dependability with hybrids over 25 years is evident. That's why they are the most purchased.

Think that is just an artist render of what it might look like. Imagine it will be more along the lines of the vans they built for Amazon, not sure why the artist didn’t pull a render off of it. Dunno, kinda like the cartoonish look about them. The angry Transformer styling of most things now is getting a bit old. Of course…Transformers are kids cartoons too…so there is that! lol!

That Honda Urban EV concept is rather dope.

It's got the same gosh darned parts as the hybrid, give or take. Same MG1/2/R as the Sienna. Bigger battery is about it.

Price wise, well, we got 10k of state and federal rebates here, so the price was pretty much a wash. No brainer decision.

Usually okay with L2 charging. Gotta love free chargepoints. If the price is more than .20/kWh I'm not plugging in, though (unless there's some side benefit like a good parking spot or something).

DCFC is.. well, as far as I understand it, hit or miss. And pricey as heck, I've seen .50+ kWh on the CCS ones quite a bit. I don't use those, though... I have a gas tank.

    TBH?

R4P does 'everything' besides a hard trail or towing (or stuff you want a bigger vehicle for, like more passengers).

We did the OBCDR (rt 3) with a Rav4 Prime in tow which stuck with us for some of the rougher sections (until a passenger got sick and then they needed to bail). I do ski resort runs all the time with it.

Nothing wrong at all with an electrified power train.

I walked away from this thread for a couple weeks hoping it would find its stride. Nope. It's as though the thread got dropped on its head. And frankly some of the bat shit crazy comments make me wonder if some members also got dropped at some point during their childhood.

My 13 Volt has just about the same specs as the R4P. I no longer pay for OnStar but they have access to a data feed and I do something along the lines of 93% EV only miles (at least a couple years ago when I checked). People are absolutely flabbergasted to hear that my "measly" 40 mile range can cover so much of my needs.

I don't use the DC fast chargers but level 2 chargers are probably around 95% reliable in my SoCal experience. The most common issues are due to
    • vandals stealing the cables for copper recycling
    • Entitled cunts in their gas vehicles parking in a clearly marked "EV charging only" parking spot. I can't wait until charging spaces are treated with the same enforcement & penalties as disabled spots.
    • Equally entitled assholes in electric cars not charging, they think the spot is reserved for EV parking whether they want to charge or not.
This is where the Tesla supercharger network really shines. The chargers have a heartbeat that the network picks up, so you know if a station is inoperable from anywhere along your route & their navigation will plan accordingly. The Chargepoint network is OK at this, but not great. You've gotta fire up the app and check availability with your phone while en route.

And now Tesla will be opening up their chargers for other EV Mfg. soon

Sigh... then why do we have rolling brown outs & blackouts during the day? Infrastructure is not sized for the load you think it is to supplement this.

    Yes, and your point?

Exactly why I have my 25rs JDM swap. 300+whp and I get 30+mpg when I want plus it's fun!

LMAO no, that was pulled from the internet which is the same place you got these articles. Yours are just more inaccurate than the data I found. It's ok, you are wrong and full of shit. I took the Russian gas aspect into account and you glossed over that. Oh and that is a result of sanctioning Russia. Hard to pump gas if the turbine you need cannot travel to be installed.

If you read that wiki article and look at the other chart in it that you "glossed over" you'll see that France is over 70% nuclear generation. Your chart accounts for the consumption of energy and the inefficiency of fossil fuels.

So....you're sort of both right. No one is "full of shit" and this is why it's important to look at all the information and not a single graph.

You have never been around dirt bag climbers very much in your life then. EVERYTHING you said above is and has been done with regular ass cars for a long time in that world, lol. Being broke causes creativity to abound and occasionally stupid decisions get made. In Montana I saw a mini-van that a climber had removed the passenger seat and installed a wood burning stove with chimney coming out the top.

    Full of shit, yeah right.

    The article you quoted stated:
    • Nuclear currently provides approximately 72% of France's electricity.

How does it negate the tax credit when ALL models went up not just the electric one? The Lightning Pro is still the cheapest SuperCrew 4x4 F150 you can get.

It seems like the apps cause a lot of the headaches. Why don’t they just have a credit card reader on the chargers like the millions of gas pumps have?
