Before I move on to the BS to add, I just want to come forward and say I'm sorry to everyone here for your losses and the agonizing dick kick in the teeth that you have been through. As yet another member falling under the "losses" group of this year, I can definitely empathize with all of you. There is definitely meaning in tragedy and there is a lesson to walk away from, albeit a hard lesson, but this helps us all grow. Usually into jaded and bitter people, but thus is life I suppose...

Throw in a Turbonator to really get that mofo moving. :burnrubber:

Anyone here running 35s + uses an Ultragauge?

I'm curious what you guys have inputted for "Distance Calibrated" value.

    UG Menu -->Vehicle Setup --> Calibration--> Calibrate Distance -->

This value is tweaked to make the UG data more accurate. I think its one of the value that most of its calibration relies on and is suggested that you sync the UG with a DOT mileage marker. Without a hypertech or dakota correction device, the odometer is inaccurate which affects computing mpg, distance, etc. With a accurate dist. cal and fuel consumed value(s), I can rely on the UG for more precise mpg, speedo, etc readings.

I know rolling circumference varies between 35s etc..

My distance cal value is 1.132. I was only able to calibrate it against a 18 mile sample of a milage marker. But I think it makes sense because my tire circumference is roughly 13% larger than stock-ish.

    Hmm haven’t though
of it. I had my other setup configured to match. I tweak it based on GPS speed and adjust speed until they are similar. I’ll have to look into it on ultra gauge

    BELT DATA POINT

40K mile update on the Gates K050705 - the regular one, not the RPM version. I had to swap out a couple of noisy idler pulley bearings so went ahead and did a belt swap while I had everything apart. At 40K miles on the Gates belt it looked great - no cracks or visible wear. It looked like it could have stayed on the truck for another 40K. It's the new spare and the cracked Dayco I had for emergencies went to the circular file.

At $16 for the regular vs. $60 for the RPM, I'll be saving my money. The cheapest part on my Tacoma is still the nut between the steering wheel and the seat.

Reminded me that I have their Racing belt on my Tacoma. As the accessory belt. Still going strong after multiple engine swaps and countless years. I have to look up when I installed that.

I've been running my RPM belt for quite a long time now. Easily since 2017-2018 to now. Still looks stellar and handled the busted stud and ate through my billet crank pulley like it was butter.

A true testament of just how tough these belts really are apparently. :)

I recently bought a 2007 tacoma with the 4.0 and trd supercharger, 197k miles. The po did not know much about it. Said he bought it from someone who worked at a dealership.

I have been trying to figure out what has been done to it. So far it looks like it has an upgraded URD pulley, looks like the 2.85. It also has a cold air intake with a k&n cone filter. I assumed that the truck had the Trd flash but it appears to have the stock green denso injectors.
I am having issues getting it to run right and I don't have any experience with tuning or superchargers.

I replaced the fuel pump with the urd setup with an external filter and it made it run a lot better but I am still having long crank times and what sounds like an exhaust leak between 1200 and 2000 rpms when the motor is under load, pinging?

I assumed the truck would have the trd flash since the guy supposedly worked at a dealership but that wouldn't work with the stock injectors would it??

I installed an aem wideband afr and it is reading 14.7 anytime I'm cruising and jumps to 10 to 12 at wot. Should it slowly get richer as I roll on the throttle? Seems like it hangs up at 14.7 then jumps to 11 ish when I try to accelerate.
