What’s the target market for the powered pruner?

Arborist? Vineyard? Orchard? I cannot see the need for a home owner IMHO.

The Ryobi version of the powered pruner is $179 bare tool so I’m guessing it’s going to be $249-299. Pneumatic power pruners for orchards are in the $500+ range.

Oh, if it were cheaper I’d get it for the wife to replace her scissor style ones. Then she’d see how cool my tools are and definitely want me to buy more :D

With a decent property and tons of trees and shrubs electric cutters are super useful. Big lopers are big and bulky and are just ok for 1".

Shit sorry fellas, I didn't realize this pruner is not expected to be available until early 2023. Expected to be $250 in kit form. Also said it's got 2 modes, basically how wide the jaws open.

Did you see there is a mode where it moves the jaw as fast as you, and in the same position that you pull the trigger? That’s actually pretty cool.

Got my warranty back today. That was quick & painless, didn't cost me anything, good job MW! They replaced it so now I got a 2022 date code which means 3 more years for warranty. Hopefully I won't have to use it again.

It’s wasn’t a sale , they cancelled my order on the 5th due to it being out of stock , then they said to contact them when it’s in stock and they would honor the price with 10 off .
