Pretty good about where I lay my gun...

...the issue lies in what I put on top of my gun when I'm moving stuff :facepalm:

Decided to pull the trigger. Prices kept increasing. Now I need to get the air supply plumbed and looking forward to a cnc plasma table in the future.62A839D4-4B4D-4916-90CE-D11B6ACFB670.jpg

    Do it!

It's just amazing the amount of fabrication that is started with CNC plasma.

I do not regret any of the money I spent on mine.

    Welcome to the 1% club.

    NICE!

CNC plasma table is in my future for sure, but you'll love the convenience of the plasma cutter alone too!

I’m just a hobbiest at best. But I take my hobbies seriously. On a serious note I don’t see myself being able to get a table until a couple more years. Hopefully prices goes down and that would help me pull the second trigger.

I will be heavily relying on making cut templates to trace until I can squeeze in a table let alone finding a place to put it.

    Ha same!

Hobbyist as well with minimal real-estate in the garage.

Can't wait to see you get yours setup once you buy one!

Same. A hobby that is really rewarding!

I built my entire table from scratch. I built it 50" x 50". I wish I would have made it smaller now.

It is a real estate hog!

Test fitting a fireplace nook I put together over the weekend. It goes back about 20" into the wall to hold a few logs. I created a box for the inner shell lined with 22g sheet metal framed with some angle iron welded into a cube with an open front. Definitely overkill but a great way to practice.

The outer casing is 2" angle iron with cut flat bar casing the top and bottom. Test fit below. I'm going to put some blue on it to match the mantle (4.5" angle iron 3/8" thick) and tack the casing to the inner frame.

My 4 x 8 lift table is in the drive in this pic. It's inside now, so there is another 32 sq ft eaten up.

im an outdoor guy, house don’t have a garage. So tools in shed and have to setup and break down. It gets old.

One day after getting a plasma table I may have a garage to put my car lift in instead of the driveway. I must say having any type of lift is also a game changer. I would buy another one if it’s not repairable.

When you say GradeAll, I think road graders.

These are for telescoping boom fork lifts, yes?

Some call them Reach Fork lifts.

Are we on the same page?

Gradall is a brand in the construction industry known for their reach fork lifts. Kinda like Ziplock for zip close bags. So that’s why I was calling it a Gradall on here.

Here in our industry we call them Petty Bones (don’t ask me why lol). So we call these brackets “Petty Bone brackets”

    upload_2022-8-30_17-12-26.jpg

We use mostly JLG lifts. These brackets allow us to build these frames off of the mast where the forks usually go
