    I don't know yet. It wouldn't be a full 1200 lb static load on the cable, but honestly those types of load calculations are beyond my pay grade. There is only a single FEA add-on for Solidworks in the company and no one knows how to access it. The whole design of the guarding has been a source of frustration since I started it last week, mainly because the plant stupidvisor wants the unobstructed "open" corner because he thinks that it would be "cool". The design has less then 0% functionality. Maybe our plant stupidvisor and your boss are related? LOL

    All of the hat talk.. I've been using a cheapy from REI for the past few summers, no brand name, just REI. It works well and is very durable.

    I've been using a hat I got off of Amazon several years ago (after a visit to the dermatologist) but the brim keeps flipping up when it's windy - how does the brim on that one stay down?

    its pretty stable. So much that I’ve had to use the chin strap to keep it on my head but at the same time, the side don’t flip up.
