No I remember, just don't understand why yours didn't fit. Maybe a variation in the cheap knockoff copies being sold on eBay. Oh well.

Maybe I'll just give you my set if you ever come hang out with us; I have no need for them.

Been fucking WAY busy this year. But I'm down for a Mod Day... just gotta fit it in.

I've got Dusy/Ershim trail all next week
Oct 8 I'll be at the Toyota truck show in Woodland
Oct 14-16 I'll be on Niagara Rim trail (third trip this year)
Oct 21-23 we'll be running Red Lake and Coyote Lake Trails (and possibly Mirror Lake)

November may be the first spot I've got open... I know there is a run sometime in Nov, just not sure when yet.

Shit, you'll be around my neck of the woods twice soon.

Recent funeral and our upcoming wedding coming up has kept me busy, I need to go wheeling badly :annoyed:

Thx bud but I'm going to have 2 extra soon. Pass em to someone in the pay it forward thread

Definitely! Provided its not 120 degrees - that heat kind of kills the whole MOD Day vibe

    FOR SURE!

I wish we were leaving for Dusy on Saturday, But we're leaving on Monday. Most of Dusy is at or above 9000 ft. Expecting 70s days and 40s at night. It's supposed to be stupid hot by the end of this week here.

Taking another load of stuff to my new house. Oh yeah and I bought a house that has a lift in the garage  . I'm definitely intimidated to use it but looking forward to having it.

I used to pull people out of snowbanks and whatever in VT all the time. I've always been more of a "my car is a last resort" guy (never drove my Tacoma in the winter there), so I never thought much about having good recovery gear.

After watching this, I ordered some.

It's funny, after all the youtube videos I've seen that were trying to sell me something, this one is the one that got me to order brand name gear, and he wasn't selling for anyone at all.

Linex it and be done, that stuff looks great and last for years. I have never had any issues with it. It cost a little more but I haven't seen anything that looks better.

yea, hard to find indeed. I left a note on the guy's truck asking to buy it or what brand it is but no-joy. I was super polite and everything. Its not that old as the only placard I can see on it is "for LED lightbar mounting only, not for roll protection'

There are some new out there available but they go between the wheels, Red Dawn style. ....and there are several new options that are so monkey pox even the jeep guys would chuckle
