You and I use sled for a completely different meaning!

Maybe because you can`t use a sled for weeks at a time in winter.

In the olden days we had a wicked hill the Township would close the road for a few days.

The walk back up built your leg muscles just over a mile.

 

Sounds like a valid Theory to me.

Just a different place then the 10mm sockets and wrenches go to.

That multi dimension storage is tricky if your helper closes the door.

I had a fellow who worked for me who was left-handed, it seemed to be a constant hindrance for him -- along with many other things.

I had many items stored in bin boxes, he would pull the item out, decide it wasn't what he needed and return it to the bin to the left of where he got it. This generated many WTH moments, especially for spare parts.

Years later I would have guys come in and say "we don't have a ____ in stock", I would say "go check the bin to the left" -- and there it would be.

 

I use these corrugated cardboard bin boxes in the garage, they really aren't that expensive for the level of organization they provide. The come in bundles of 25 or more, lots of different sizes available.
Beats the heck out of odd boxes, cans, bottles, etc..

 

Those allegedely make decent deer drags.

Some days I just got nothing…

 

So this Malibu isn't without a few scratches and very minor hail dents (few) but 68k miles for $4,500. N change I'm very happy. My daughter prefer to drive my Impala so guess this is my new daily. 2012 same year as Impala.

Looks like a win to me.

 

I have some patch plates to fabricate for the control room and simulator today. These are plates that fill voids when switches and lights are removed. Then they bondo over and paint them existing color of control room board. It's easy work and will keep me busy in the shop. So many upgrades have been done over the years. The plant was designed long before construction was completed in 1974.
