    Today is the day for Joyce, she is done, they are throwing her a retirement party during the day so folks from the office can come say bye... She started her day crying, I'm sure it will continue, she's really gonna breakdown when our kids show up at the party... Her son and my son are taking part of their day to come wish Mom a happy last day... She's known and worked with 100s of employees over the years...

    Gonna be a SOB fest here today..

    For better or worse my first lure build is completed.
    Made a ton of mistakes but learned a lot.
    Next one will be better. Quality wise. Not necessarily color coordination wise.
    I’m a black and white primary color guy.
    So it’s going to be interesting to see what kind of shit color combo I’m going to spray.

    i like this one!

    One of my fave memories of fishing with my dad was dragging a canoe through dense woods to a little pond for pike fishing in Michigan. I used a lure that looked very similar to this and landed a keeper with it. I clearly remember the teeth marks the fish left in the balsa wood!! I know my dad kept that lure for years, but I dont know what happened to it after he passed. (Twat of a wife he had… - not my mother- probably just dumped it like everything else…)

    The slots work well too. Straight temples slide right in and hold well. Curved temples need the glasses flipped upside down but they hold also once done.
