We're finally just warming up. Feels nice. Keep it sub-95 and I'll be happy.

I usually just wait for the snow to melt. It’s a lot of work to shovel

Right on. I'd rather have fun plowing through it with the Taco. Screw shoveling. Did enough of that as a kid. My folks used to make me shovel during a storm. Like, why, man?

Blasphemy, summer is finally here! (though low to mid 80s would be nice instead of mid 90s)

I hear you there and meant down the road a long way. Haha!

TriCities was a mess this weekend, but I did better than I thought I was going to. Yesterday it was haze and / or high clouds most of the day, thankfully. Drank so much water. Gallons. Literally.

I didn't bite my tongue hard enough. On my way south after work, it was drizzling momentarily just south of Bellevue.:rofl:

How are you liking the ARB fridge? I've always been too cheap to get one, but I've spent over $50 on ice in the last week just to keep drinks cold for the striking teachers (and that's with a "fancy" RTIC cooler).

having a fridge is life changing. worth every penny imo and you can easily run a day or two off just battery power. if you are moving every day its no problem keeping the battery charged up. or add a hood mounted solar panel and it'll run forever.

ive had an arb 37, arb elements 63 and dometic 35. 35-45 is the perfect size unless you have a bunch of people or are going for a very long time

Yikes. That's a lot of ice. Sorry to hear about the strike.

I was pretty happy with my soft-side cooler, but it was pretty limited. With a bit of peer pressure and a good deal on an ARB, I couldn't be happier. Super easy to load up, uses very little power, and works great. I find excuses to bring it along versus the chore of packing the cooler, buying ice, and drying it out.

The 37 is excellent for a solo person. I could see a fam needing a bit more room and is what other folks have experienced. Still though, a 37qt can swallow a 30pk and still have room left.

    ^ for sure

I usually use my 35 and thats plenty for a couple people for a week or so. if you have a fam, I'd definitely goto a 45-50. once you go larger than that, the space required is huge.. and thats a ton of space to fill up with stuff.

I have a large dometic fridge/freezer in my trailer so the ice chests don't get used much anymore - I forgot what a pain they are! I do use my smaller soft sided cooler for excursions, but usually just use a blue ice pack that then goes back in the trailer freezer at the end of the day.

The thought of having the simplicity that I have in the trailer on a smaller scale is certainly appealing.

    I hear you there.

I don't know why, but I thought that a fridge might be a pain to move around and hook up. Kinda surprises me how quick it goes in and out. It lives in the garage keeping camp beer happy when I am not running around with it.

I somehow wound up with 4 fridges. One "OG" garage beer fridge which is now in the "bar" (don't ask or I'll post photos, it's ridic, 1980's Arthur bar in the middle of the house, like, WTF) then my dometic and two fridges, one full size in the garage which is where the beer is (cept it's empty now and I gotta buy more but the wife is keen b/c I "just bought 3 cases, WTF Dave") so, yeah, fridges...
