I have a question or two. I have a 2019 TRD Pro with a westcott lift in the front (basically a shim, but they claim its otherwise) and an AAL from 88 rotors in the back. I do some towing and camping and after about a year the AAL isn't cutting it.

I'm thinking about the OME ELO96R heavy duty springs. I know Deaver and others are probably better but these are in my budget.

I believe i will get about a 2" lift which is fine and will match the front of my truck. It says they are rated for 600 lbs. I have an RLD designs cap(165 lbs), sliders (?), bed molle panels(?), a roam box with tools (~75 lbs), and some misc stuff. I tow a small military style offroad trailer a couple times a month and when loaded the tongue weight is around 200-250 lbs. When towing i'm probably right around the 600 lb mark, but id say static weight for me is probably 450lbs when not towing?

These leaves should be okay right? The lighter pack is for 300 lbs, which i think i will be over.

Anyways, if i go with these leaves (or is it leafs), i think the ride height would be fine, but will there be any issues with Fox pro shocks? I'm assuming it will be basically what it was before my AAL started sagging. I'm hoping the travel wouldn't be greatly effected to the point of needing modification.

I'm also thinking of doing the relentless fab U bolt flip deally with new bump stops. Just wanted to check in that you think this will be a decent set up for the $$. I found a barely used set of EMU leaves that are around $300. Is there anything else i'm missing or should take into consideration? Thanks

So follow up. Went with icon leaf kit. Just trying to figure out orientation. Is the larger portion of the bushing the front? Looks to be this orientation with the originals. Thanks

assuming the front is the first pic and the rear is the second. Only asking since I need to add a leaf to the pack and want to make sure the orientation is correct. Thanks.

You are correct. The wrap is the front of the spring as it was with the originals. Likewise when you add the leaf you will notice it is longer on one side of the axle pin hole then the other. It will be pretty obvious when you add it what direction it will need to go.

Thanks just wanted to double check. Went together pretty easy. Added some lube too just in case.

I have the RLD cap and some other goodies. Hopefully setting it up for 600 lbs is good. If not I guess I’ll be taking a leaf out.

yeah it sat at the right height for a little bit. They told me 0-300 lbs. definitely didn’t cut the mustard. Definitely wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. Yeah should have just gone with this set up from the beginning, but didn’t really have it in the budget. Thanks for the help.

Are you adding a leaf or anything? I used grease between the leaves and compressed them with a c clamp. I centered them with a screw driver after I added the leaf and decompressed them. To get everything aligned I placed it on a piece of 2x4 and then placed a piece on top and gave it a whack with a hammer to align all the leaves and spacers. Then I used the old alignment pin and drive it in to make sure it was aligned and finally put the proper pin in and torqued it all down. Haven’t done the install yet though. Hopefully that’s just as easy.

Yeah, I will be adding the leaf to give me the “Option 3” max load rating. Good luck with your install and thanks for the tips

Take some pictures and let me know how it goes. I might tackle mine this weekend or Monday depending. If not I’ll do the same.
