How long did you have to wait for your factory 2022 order/request/whatever it is called?

Im in South Jersey dealing with Holman Toyota. I put my deposit down on January 18th. It was finally built on Aug 15th. I got a delivery date from 9-12 Sept. I got a text today saying there is a rail car shortage and now my delivery date is pushed to around Sept 23rd. God I'm getting impatient!!

My truck was supposed to leave on train Aug 29 and it hasn’t I suspect my delivery date is gonna be pushed back.
Gonna be right with my schedule to get it when they said I have days to pick it up or someone else gets it

 

Try running your vin to see if it was recalled for the Latch System. My truck has been sitting in QC Hold for 101 days. Your truck was build in the same timeframe as mine. The recall on mine has been fixed and now shows an ETA. If you check the Toyota App it will show you if the recall is still active on your truck

Afternoon All....I placed my order way back on the first week of January and I'm still waiting to here its current status . Last I heard on the 15th of August the truck had been built but the dealership was unsure of its status or when it might hit shipping or arrive for delivery.

 

As you good folks, I’m waiting impatiently for my Tacoma built on the 25th and no shipping info available

I live in Virginia, so do any of you folks know by what method/s Toyota will use to get my vehicle to my dealership. I’m in Central Virginia!

Just got my first door unlock notice and tire pressure, odometer, and fuel showed up in the app for first time too. Hopefully that’s a good sign

Will go to vera cruz port after being built. Then will catch a boat ride to newark port. Then i believe it is trucked to final destination. Mine is going to lynchburg so i'm assuming process is same.

I hear you....the wait has been more than a nail biter with some of the communication issues with the dealership. At least I know the VIN and that it's been built so at least I'm out of the "we may or may not get an allocation this month for your truck". I will keep my fingers crossed for you

Combing two past posts that I didn’t see answers.

(1) At what points (if any) are there normally updates to location between the initial train departure (San Diego) and dealership arrival? Possibly when the train arrives (Denver)? Or when it gets loaded on the truck for the trip to the dealership?

(2) I downloaded the app and put in my VIN and pulled up my truck. At what points in the journey would I expect door unlock or other notifications? I haven’t received anything yet so I’m not sure I have the app properly set.

I got movement day it was built and from what I understand, the day it got to Long Beach. Only door unlocks

 

Maybe mine was on the train before I installed my app.
