Nah, that wheel and tire selection is perfect. I'm considering Summit Dakars for my 22 LR, but the offset means rock chips...

I have a LR coming by end of Sept. EVERYONE has the bronze wheel/tire combo - I know it's not for me either. I like the black - looks great. I think for my wheels/tires - going to a 17in rim and then figuring out what skinny to put on it. Prefer that over wide/KFC bucket looking set ups.

those are 0 offset. Do they make those Dakars with a 0?
initial impressions of on road for the Nittos is 2 thumbs up. they ride really well.

In our area, i havent seen a Lunar Rock anything with bronze. everyone around here does black wheels on everything.
I just dont like how the black wheels kinda fade in the shadows, but no arguing that they do look good on this color.

-25, I wish, been looking at other options, I ran -12 offset on my 2019 and my poor rocker panels, I do like your wifes setup, may have to explore that option.

Well, looks like I am out of the Lunar club. Local dealer called and had a 2022 OffRoad Mag Grey ready to go (someone backed out). So the TRD Sport I was going to get Friday in Lunar needs a new home lol...

Thanks. Ultimately, it was the offroad over sport that made my decision. Sport would require more $$ to get road ready for me lol (can't drive a truck on car tires)

I know the Sport guys are gonna murder me when I say it but Off Road tends to get slightly better resale / demand, literally every Off Road allocation was snagged when I was looking for mine, plenty of Sports to be had. Same with my prior trucks, the Sports and Limiteds always sat longer on lots, better deals.

Very true. Listen, I like both, no doubt. But if I had to choose - off-road it is.

My first 3rd gen was a sport, and with my 2022 purchase, I was fine with an OR or Sport again. As mentioned, the ORs are way more in demand, but I ultimately went with sport again because other than fire roads, my truck is just a vehicle to haul my family and our bicycles around.

Here in Canada you see a lot of sports because we can’t get a long bed off road (in a double cab) and the 6’ bed is handy.

I have my long term plan in place... she'll have a 4runner eventually lol. We live in FL, and don't have kids, so honestly a 4runner is unnecessary for her right now. We may relocate to the mountains in the next 5 years and that's when I make my move to put the plan in motion lol

Just got my TRD Off Road DCSB. Getting the TRD Lift Kit installed today or tomorrow once parts come. Upgraded from my grandma's hand-me-down 2003 Avalon.

    First mods I'm considering are:
    1. Duratrac or Wildpeak AT3w tires (265/75/r16 on stock wheels)
    2. Amber fogs and raptor lights on the pro grill following TRD Lift Kit installation
    3. Blackout/chrome delete on emblems and rear bumper
    4. LED headlight assembly replacement
    More expensive things later
