god I would love to do that to our printer

For a $15,000 printer you'd think it wouldn't take 15 minutes to warm up every time you need to print something, and every 6 weeks or so a Canon rep has to come out and fix it.

Can print multiple sizes of paper, that's why all the paper trays. Copy and scans, connected to internet, and you can crawl in the bottom and time travel up to 500 years in any direction

Ugh yeah, this is the first real heatwave we've seen this summer so I guess I'm thankful for that. Haven't broken 100 much this year so far.

We're supposed to top out at 108 this weekend so not quite as bad as some areas. But still sucks. We're actually flying up to visit my father in law this weekend in Grass Valley but it's going to be about as hot there too

    Was this too far?Screenshot_20220831-135354_Messages.jpg

For context, last covid test I took was in June and it was at a "free testing site" since I haven't had any insurance in over a year

Haven't been in Grass Valley for at least 20 years. What I remember of it is it was hot but not as hot as say Sac. Hopefully they have AC. Stay cool out there.

The edge of the Bay is expecting a max of mid 90s on the weekend. Lately its been warmer than the forecast but still tolerable. Air Quality is going to be crap.

Yeah it gets hot in GV this time of year, but they get pretty cold too in the winter being at about 2,500 ft elevation. About a 1hr 15 drive from there to Tahoe though, if we had more time and not on a holiday weekend I'd head up there
