Key phrase there is "there no way "I" could get it to look acceptable to me." meaning I have high standards and low skill painting them. Yours look great! Mine would not....

I don't get why this is a first world problem?

I would totally suck at spray painting a rim to anyones acceptable standards. Dawela's came out nice.

I'm tired of my wheels, okay.

The stuff Tacoma owners complain about is amazing.

To me, stock trd sport wheels are the ugliest, trd off-road wheels are a close second. I really like SR wheels.

    Bronze seems to go well
With a bunch of colours. I kind of regret getting black sema wheels now. Silver or bronze looks better on a black truck IMO. Black rims are too played out now.

Not enough bandwidth on the internet to list.
I went black at first and used Plasti-Dip. They came out real nice. Now have matte gunmetal. Changing to black and gunmetal tint next.

in 20 years these bad boys are gonna be hot classic collectibles ;) 20210114_131320.jpg

but yeah, im kinda bored of them too but given i do alot of trail driving they do pick up some chips so ill feel bad for romping a nice set of trd pro wheels (especially when they are like 300 a peice). historically ive always enjoyed stock wheels tho. ill probably plastidip these black and see how it holds up.

I've got the burnt orange OR. What colour wheels would look good?

I agree. I friggin hate my stock rims. Just wondering if painting them would make them look any better

I don't mind the OR wheels. But I don't like that toyota never changed the wheels in 8 years of production. You figured they would have changed them at the mild refresh of the grill in 2020. That's why I'm changing mine out. Every OR built in 8 years has the same wheels from the factory. Trying to change it up a little and still keeping OEM wheels so I went with the bronze trail edition wheels.
