I learned a very good habit I made a Stand and got clear plastic pouches after burning far to many prints

Used clips to hold the plastic covered prints in a vertical position then it would take well directed grinding sparks..

The fact the cute office girl left did not impact this at all .

    Different companies use different terms.

Another manufacture is Lull that gets used as a generic term as well.

Do you ever get to operate them they are fun??

The new guy across from me made so far 188 brackets, stainless steel, as shown on that pallet.

He had another 20 or so he tacked on his table and plenty more untouched.

I've already built 4 different conveyor frames, multiple legs, and a few other things during that time

This can be tricky a good work ethic is great but don`t get the whole shop pissed at the new guy.

It can get real ugly some places.

Was just an observation; everyone's super cool and helps each other out.

We're left alone to weld our assembly per the blueprint. You finish up and put your stuff on the pallet, unless it's huge and heavy then it just gets picked up off your table.

That or you move it yourself with the forklift since all welders are forklift certified upon hiring (myself included).

I got to run a Lull unit as a substitute while the Skylift brand was out getting serviced.

That thing was looser than a $5 dollar hooker on dollar night.

It did the job, but you better not let the hung over laborer run the thing!

Since the Welding thread has meandered to the point of being about hookers and blow, I just wanted to show something I am pretty pleased about. 2017 I retired from Toyota, and I made a big mistake and sold my Dodge Ram 2500 diesel. I was worried about money. 2 yrs later Toyota asked me to come back and work part time. Great pay rate and it significantly affected my money situation. :spending:

Long story short, I severely regretted selling that truck. Yesterday I replaced it with a local purchase.

Previous truck (still my favorite). Truck was like brand new: 2001, 24V, 4x4, 180K, zero rust:
    IMG_1898.jpg

    Found a local 1998 12V W/ATS Stage 1 auto, upgraded injectors, 222K:

If you ever want to own a real strong truck, get one of these 2nd gen Dodge beasts. I love Toyotas, but it's definitely different level of capability.

For what ever reason I just don`t like the cabs .

I drove one for a few thousand miles with the 6.0 Come apart

I like my Ford F250 for serious towing.

Not sure what the "6.0 come aparts" means, but these are 5.9L in-line 6 cylinders Cummins. Bullet proof engine. The cabs seem really comfortable to me.

    It's a joke. "come apart=Cummins.

I agree the early ones were amazing. Just the rest of the truck won't stay together.

    Perfect truck?

    A Cummins in a F250.

I hate when the welding helmet batteries go dead and you get flashed.

Blue eyes will get you every time!!

I only ever had it bad that it hurt one time when I was about 10. Most times it is the same person that directs grinder sparks at your back all the time that arc flashes you.

With the proper cover plates and safety glasses to me it is no worse having a light turned on in a dark room.

It was an error my brain does not work well when warm.

    confusing the 5.9 with the 6.0 .

You never heard Come Apart before. It is a favorite term of the old 3406 cat people .

A shop I know was doing the 5.9 swaps into the Fords.
