For me, I have them broken in within the first week or two. But I’m usually getting several miles a days in at my plant!

Remains to be seen I bought the tires and wheels the rest came along
Ha Ha Ha then you get questioned why your work has dropped off.

It takes at least 6 months to a year for even a sharp new hire to get up to speed in mechanical /electrical repair.

I might need to revise that time frame based on days called off.

That is why when I did the plumbing for my living quarters I made everything easy to get to.

Then not having to please a women it was easier.

I have seen things like this happen it might not be the reason you think.

A new hire trying to prove their worth can do any number of really dumb things.

Though I am talking years ago now lack of common sense is most likely the reason.

25 years ago seems like last year.

Well, mowing day didn't go quite as planned...

At the first lawn made one pass around and suddenly the deck went silent.

I did the normal side of the road troubleshooting steps:
    1) swear with gusto
    2) check belt - fine
    3) fiddle with switch
    4) jiggle wires randomly
    5) swear some more and load it back on the trailer

Back across town at the asphalt dooryard of the garage in the blazing western sun:

    KIMG2414.jpg

Well, this is different, the idler pulley for the hydro units belt chewed the clutch wires.

    KIMG2412.jpg

Repairable, fortunately I have a parts machine, more fortunately I could get at the parts machine without too much work. The wires for the clutch were around 6" longer on the parts machine allowing a better routing. The working machine was built early in 2006, I'm betting the parts machine is slightly newer and they addressed this issue.

    KIMG2415.jpg

So I hauled the mower across town to the job, back to the garage, fixed it and back to the job then to the next job and back to the garage... I had planned on finishing around 3, instead I got home around 7:30.:bananadead:

    Used Ginger for work.
Cleared out all the crap tires that had built up, $5/per X 12.

    KIMG2410.jpg

Wonder what this one sounded like when it cut loose. It was on an old truck sitting in the garage, I came in and found it blown. :boom:

Just remember we know how to fix these problems after finding them .

So many are at the mercy of the mower repair person quoting at least a $1000.00 repair.

If I can't fix a single cylinder zero turn mower it is time to put the garage up for sale.
(@Delta09 will probably be the first guy there)

It is hard to find a good mower repair guy as well. :(

Goodmorning crew. Last day of work for me this week then off for eleven. I have this itch to go home right now, but plenty of work to keep me busy.
Time to get coffee and ready myself for the morning beating...meeting I mean.
    Have a great day.

Apparently Chevrolet made a prototype Avalanche in 1978 and scrapped the idea until 2001 when they went into production o_O
