ARB Awning Mounted to RSi Smartcap Rails?

    Anyone out there who has mounted their ARB Awning to an RSi Smartcap with the RSi rails?

    I picked up the 6x8 awning today and was told that the rhino rack universal awning bracket kit would be the right solution.

    However it appears that the Rhino Rack included hardware doesn’t fit the rack rails; and don’t fit the ARB Channel Rail either.

    Anyone out there had luck with something off the shelf or otherwise?

    i have the load bars; was hoping to mount to those… in order to raise the awning a bit; so that the gullwing door could open at least partly.

    Funny you mention the OVS 270; a vendor in these parts (NSOR) advised that they would be the best and likely a (knockoff) etc).

    so I may run around and try to pick those up. M8 is what will fit the ARB.

    Even with my huge OVS 270 the sidedoor opens almost all the way. You could try the ARB one for cheap and see if it works.

    Ok… at the very least I now know I could maybe give the OVS brackets a whirl.
    I gotta time crunch so those ARB brackets won’t arrive in time. Sadly.

    but if I don’t get this sorted tomorrow morning… I’ll order those up.

    Love my OVS. The wife wanted a smaller awning but now that we have the bigger one she agrees I was right (she'll never admit to that). I use mine for camping and hunting and the extra shade is key.
