How long did you have to wait for your factory 2022 order/request/whatever it is called?

I am waiting on 3TMHZ5BNXNM136493. Late last week I got a flurry of door unlocks and a hood open notification, and the jumped to 7 miles, the tire pressures dropped to 32 psi.
Today another round of door inlocks, and the odometer jumped to 11 miles.

Anybody want to tell me what they think is happening?
I had been told the rig would show up at the dealer around Columbus day.

 

Well I just got my first notification today and it’s sitting at the destination port, or maybe loaded on a transport truck.

 

I put a deposit down on this today, do those #'s mean anything?

So looking at the port of Vera Cruz our most recent favorite RORO vessel around here the Bravery Ace has left Newark and is back en route to Vera Cruz.

Assuming she spends 24 hours at Vera Cruz like the last time she will probably depart Vera Cruz on Sep 7 and likely arrive back in Newark on Sep 15.

That’s all based on the schedule mirroring the last rotation which could change for a number of reasons. I’m keeping an eye on an earlier sailing with another Japanese RORO vessel but that one has been on a fixed US Southeast rotation and very unlikely to go to Newark.

that’s not good… I’m really hoping that they’ll still deliver the built Tacoma’s. Mine is still at the Lazaro Cardenas port and I’m getting impatient.

 

My Tacoma had the recall and sat and is still sitting in port since 5/23. Recently it had the recall fixed and is now scheduled for delivery. Is was approximately one month for Toyota to come up with a remedy and any trucks made after late May should be fine.

 

Finally get to graduate from this thread as well. Here's my timeline for my magnetic DCLB TRD Off-Road that was allocated to one of the dealers in Salt Lake and built at the Baja plant.

8/22 - Deposit placed on truck that was built on 8/20 that hadn't yet been reserved. Signed up for the app also.
8/23 - First checked with Rod03 on status and there was no movement or ETA.
8/24 - Got a couple door notifications and dealer said it had changed to freight status and processing was completed.
8/26 - Another door lock notification and when it was loaded onto the truck to head straight to the dealer per Rod03.
8/30 - More door unlock notifications and dealer confirmed it had arrived.
8/31 - Traded in the Ranger and picked up the Tacoma!

Feeling pretty fortunate and lucky with how quick my timeline was after having seen the wait some other forum members have dealt with and getting lucky with grabbing a truck that was not yet reserved and had been built already and can't thank Rod03 and the other members enough for the tips with the app!

Made a deposit at the new Toyota Dealership in Lynchburg, for one of their September Allotments! They were allotted 6, 5 being already Pre-Sold. So needless to say I grabbed the one that was left. It was exactly what I wanted, and the MGM color was acceptable.

Soooooooo, here's praying it'll arrive this month!!

this is exactly how large (and even small) rail yards work. With thousands in cars being shuttled and unloaded the position the car enters the yard has a lot to do with the order in which it’s switched and unloaded. I’ve lost entire cars in a yard for weeks before.

 

Wish I could see some movement. Downloaded ap , added vin , set notifications and nothing yet. I have this feeling it is sitting on a rail car somewhere waiting to be unloaded and then loaded. Sigh.......
