Lol, naw, I rarely boil and mash potatoes anymore. The instant are pretty damn good and take 10 minutes.

I may have or not have a couple of years worth of dehydrated hash potatoes and instant potatoes in my preps.
Gives me a cushion if my harvest does not come in well, and I need to plant less.

Rehydtrate the hash, add canned corn beef, and instant meal, high in protein and carbs.

Can't make home fries with them.

I used to make instant all the time. It's convenience and easy.

Sometimes I make meatballs with gravy. Then add the instant.

Carbs is one thing I can't have.

I did the same when I was younger. Corn beef hash is pretty good.

The little ones are mini bell peppers and the others were tagged as hot mexican but they don't live up to the name unfortunately.
    No doubt :goingcrazy:

I know! I'm half tempted but I think my hot hot pepper days are over. Just too much internal trauma if you know what I mean :bananadead::bananadead::bananadead:

I collected some okra, purple hulls, and limas. Got a couple of unexpected "volunteers" that are also producing. They're producing like gangbusters.

Very sweet. I forget the specific variety, but they have all been better than what I've found at farmers markets or grocery stores. These popped up from last year's compost.

Yes, they're cantaloupe. Stop on by and have one or two if you'd like. Two plants have already given six bowling ball sized melons. Still producing more.
Funny thing is that these plants kept springing up around my tomato plants. I would pull up the sprouts and more would show up. Gave up on these two plants and let them grow freely in the garden. Finally figured out that they were seedlings from last year's compost that I put in the soil for the tomato plants. Hence, I call them "volunteers".
