Looks good, it looks like you got a little lens flare on the first few photos. I'd recommend getting a lens hood to help get rid of that

Nice. Lens flare isn't always bad. Some people even add them for effect. It's your preference.

a hood won't help if you're aiming at the sun

i was thinking the same thing lol.

from a "few shots" standpoint. they arent bad.

but from photography standpoint i have a few tips.

Dont always shoot directly into the sun....especially since you were using an auto mode. It will always expose the picture for the sun, not your subject. i.e. picture of your truck.

that means the sun/sky will look fine but the rest of your shot is going to be dark, granted this would be easily corrected if your shooting in RAW...

and yes even though lens flare all depends on the user, there is a point when it becomes too much. where its physically covering up your subject....i.e. all your shots with the lens flare.

Nice, you got the horizon line straight. thats always a good thing.

they arent too shabby at all. you have the basics of composure down, just watch that sun and you will be good to go

I was experimenting with auto, and fully manual with different settings the past few outings..Didnt like the way it came out in auto at all, usually to dark. Thanks for the pointers, its what I'm looking for.
