    Hey Boyos,

I'm looking at possibly getting some new wheels and wondering if they'd give me any trouble with rubbing. My truck is set at 1.5inch lift right now with 265/75/16. In the future I do plan on going 33's just not sure yet on 255's or 285's.
    The wheels in mind are:
Black Rhino Guide in Midnight Blue
    16x8.5 -10 offset
    Backspacing: 4.4

    Pic for reference

With 255's you should be okay. With 285's you'll probably rub a bit. Your current tires should have no issues.

Just know that the wheels in your picture are almost certainly the 17x9 -38 offset versions they also sell, so they will looke a little different on your truck.

Thank you! Yeah I did notice that after I posted it but at least have an idea of the color. I want something a little different than just black or bronze and want the wheels to poke a little, though I don't quite keep my truck a pavement princess lol I'm trying to get a better understanding of how much negative offset will push the wheel out but also keeping the back spacing in mind

I have used this site over the years to get visuals and compare wheel/tire sizes on different vehicles. Just throw in all your specs you want.

Wasn’t letting me enter decimals for a 37x12.5 tire ran the comparison as if the tire was a metric size of 37/125/17

Well, hopefully this video share will work. Little bit of machining pr0n (from the Jim Rome Smackchat forum days)

Made up the rotary axis trunion for our new CMX. Needed a bit of time working on some parts, not just budgets and forecasting and load planning. Picked a couple of the detail oriented crusty old machinists to work with - and asked them for the design review.

It's all coming together, and as the axle went in the bushing, just made me smile and hence had to share a video.

S2's just look right on ditch light mounts. Those Caliraised mounts tuck them exactly where they need to be and I'm glad I switched to them.

I think I'm gonna upgrade the fog lights someday too, but I know getting good SAE/street legal fogs is not as clear cut in favor of Baja Designs.

As I learned tonight in a new series - perhaps it is best to "admire all who can see the mystery of things, who can divine from the plainness of what is, to the beauty of what could be"

hence why it was hosted on another service!

I run a similar setup. SDHQ brackets and S2 pro. They’re great.

I keep thinking it would be cool to try to rent out Wild Horse Pass's offroad course sometime before it gets demolished, but I dunno how many people would be interested, or even how much $$$ it would break down to per-person if we did something like "Taco Tuesday fuckery" with a bunch of Tacomas and 4Runners...

    210902_NRX_Track_Maps_AZ-v2.jpg

It'd be a drive for @snowsk8air2 but he'd probably be able to catch some serious hangtime.

Nice to have the Sequoia as a project truck since the Tacoma is "done"...should've done the CVs and ECGS bushing when I installed the lift, though...whoops!

Oh well, I'll know it's right because I've done it twice
