    Told the dealership what I wanted around July 20th. They told me it could take 6 months to find. By July 30th they told me to come out in my deposit.

    So the VIN on the dealership site for the truck has now changed to what appears to be a permanent one. Can anyone verify if this is typical? I thought the dealership had to provide the permanent VIN?

    Anyway Rod would you be able to check this one now?

    Wow, so I searched the forum but first 3 pages of results were almost entirely this thread!

    I keep getting notifications from the Toyota app about vehicle alerts but there is no context in the app and the notifications are vague. How do you monitor these things, it’s seemingly useless noise?
