Thinking of taking the day off tomorrow. Haven’t gone shooting in a while with ammo prices but have the itch.
Taking just a few,one being the savage 10 heavy barrel 308. The kid embarrassed me when he took it out and got 5 rounds within 2 inches or less of each other at 200 yards. Can’t let him win.
Say what you want about this gun but that thing is a true tack driver. Hornady match 168 is all we use for this gun. This works very well.
Maybe an AR or two and a few handguns, my Sig 365 carry so I can actually use it.
Wife says I’m (and son) are a bit carried away. Three safes so far, one just for ammo and no more room.
Will send a few shots down hill for Matt in thought of his job interview. Bullseye hopefully for you and me.

Tried to catch up between waking up and getting to work, but texter has a red eye flight and will call me over the weekend.
So, patiently waiting for the follow up phone call but . It’s a part time thing for the first semester, but it will allow me to start teaching fire science at the college, on top of already teaching at the fire academy.

For the most part yes, I wait to sneak stuff in, like… I’ll plan a range day the day I’m picking something up. Less noticeable.

I think the only time she got me was when my new bow came in a few years ago.

 

Just got off the phone, it’s official, I’m now an Adjunct Professor and will be starting later this month.

This is gonna open up more teaching options and put my retirement package back in motion from waaaay back when I worked full time as a facilities specialist.

Now the wait and interviews and results for the full time job… is it October yet?
