    Need more info -

Does the engine rev normally or excessively, but truck just won't speed up?
    How many miles on it?
    Is it automatic?
If so, was it sluggish before the flush?

Often, it's not a good idea to flush an automatic that has alot of miles, especially if the tranny fluid hasn't been changed in a long time, or ever!

First, your symptoms could be from low fluid level. But I'll assume you've checked the tranny-fluid. It sounds like the tranny is slipping. It needs to go to a tranny shop for diagnosis & repair, if you can find one in your area that's trustworthy. Otherwise, I'd consider a factory rebuilt tranny.

Remains to be seen I bought the tires and wheels the rest came along
Just what are you comparing it with another Tacoma with the exact same drive train?

Remove as much weight as possible!!

Forced induction or a Engine Swap?

Looking for a fast off the line vehicle it is not a 2.4 pick up.
