When placing my order back in January, I went with any color other than black seeing it only looks good on the showroom floor. And come to find out around the first part of August I got the call and my allocation came up and the truck would be MGM matching the wife's Highlander. Thinking it should look really good with what I'm planning for it as well as hide dirt better than some of the other colors.

No I don't want to get a turbo engine I will be happy with a V6 and a manual transmission before they will likely discontinue those.

I am more leaning towards MGM now. Thanks!

I hear you.....was on the same boat. And with used car prices as crazy as they are it was the time to strike before the new truck shows up and with it new kinks to iron out.

I got to choose between Electric Lime and MGM on my 22. The dealer had three allocated and the white was already spoken for. I originally wanted white, but went with the MGM. I knew the Green was a no go for me. I waited almost three months for it to be delivered. Very happy with my decision. Right now it sounds like you are going to have to take what you can get.

MGM was my second choice for a pro - but likely would have considered a MT AG OR instead -IF- if a significantly better deal since mgm is super common - across all manufacturers.

(the Pro was the Best Buy by a good margin!).

I’d go for the solar octane as it is the featured color - although who knows as It is not my fav color.

    LR rules! ;)

Imo, the op should be the only one to decide what color they pick. They alone have to live with that choice, not what others think they should have.

I ordered a black one but it never showed up. So after 7 months I put another deposit down at a different dealer and they found an MGM one and showed up in 1 month. Actually looks decent with black trim offsetting the body color. IMG_0049.jpg

As I and other people encountered:
Just put your downpayment for a Pro, you get whatever color comes up unless your willing to wait wait wait wait for what you want.

I waited 8 months and still ended up with a different color than what I originally set out for.

If you are really dead-set on a specific color, save an extra $6,000 or so and just have it re-painted when you get it.

Loved the Red in 2017, but 2022/23? White.

MGM all the way. Honestly it wasn't my first choice, but it is a really good color in the Taco. The metallic is very well done I'm very happy with mine

Getting lime green. Yeah, it’s a crazy color but for some reason I really like it. And it was the only one available so there was that.

MGM ages well and still looks good after several years. Black will require a lot of up keep to make it shine, but I loved the black on my 2020 TRD OR 4Runner. Both have really cool metallics.

If you've never owned a black vehicle do your research on detailing. It's a handful.

yeah; I paid $4k for my black Miata RF club to get PPF and ceramic coating.

Still have to get a touch less carwash pretty often to keep it clean

    trading it on the Tacoma

not planning on PPF or ceramic coating
