New SR5 Coming in a month!

Hello everyone. I have a new 2022 SR5 arriving in about a month. What are some good suggestions other than led upgrades? Also, does anyone know if Morimoto makes Xb led headlights for the taco?

 

Congrats on the new SR5. My suggestion, is drive it for awhile. Enjoy it. Then you can decide what "you" want to upgrade or not upgrade. I've had my SR5 almost a year now and I like it bone stock.

Get a bed mat. Keeps things from sliding around.

 

I believe they do. However, you'd be much better off getting the OEM LEDs in my opinion.

 

i have the same truck that came with the cover. i added the bad mat and just put in the leds bulbs for less than $200.

 

This is my 2021 SR5 with Morimoto xbs. 100% plug and play, no additional wiring harness needed

You could go OEM LEDs too but you would need a specific wiring harness made by @Puppypunter to get them working and i believe there is currently a wait list to get your hands on one. If you want the cheapest option, there are LED bulbs for stock halogen headlights like the previous post, but most ppl will agree, don't use led bulbs in your halogen assemblies. Just because it's cheap and you can, doesn't mean you should.

 

I had a pile of accessories before my truck was delivered to me, so my opinion might be a bit biased buuuut, you need Morimoto headlights and Meso tails.

 

I love my morimotos. I have only ever seen one other tacoma with them installed in person. I definitely get head turns and head nods from other tacomas on the road

I just recently purchased a SR5 taco and have been looking to upgrade my headlights to LED. How have the Morimotos been so far? Will they throw codes after install?

 

If ya live in a rusty spot, maybe look at woolwax or fluid film?

Also make sure you don't yee when you should haw (if you catch my drift)

If they salt the roads where you live, ya might wanna get some fluid film or woolwax and spray your frame.
