I was in the first few minutes on the Cybertruck. Agreed, it will probably end up as a quad motor along with the 4 wheel steering (“crab walk”) that has already been added after the introduction.

Late next year. I’ve seen “middle of next year” as well, but that could be Day 2 to Day 364.

Whatever happened with the Bollinger pick ups? They seemed like they were close to production and then abandoned them and are working on bigger vehicles like box trucks now.

Wait... Can they go skiing and go to the beach
Unfortunately the price was definitely in the luxury range. Their original price started at $125k I think. The no nonsense interior was cool but I don't want to pay more for it.

For the first couple of months after initial release (if still happening) there would be people going to Home Depot and Lowes for their first time JUST to get 16’ pieces of lumber (that they don’t have a use for but want to make videos for social media with).

It’s weird how these new auto manufacturers come up with these solutions to problems that aren’t really problems in the first place. Do they think that people don’t already haul long lumber in their trucks? Why does the wood have to be inside the truck with you? Let it hang out of the bed with a flag on it or get a set of ladder racks like everyone else has been doing forever.

How are you going to go wheeling with your lumber?!

I too hate having extra room to carry things.

I'd much rather strap and flag a load than just toss it in the trunk and be done with it. /s

Why wouldn't anyone want extra carrying capacity. It was never a "problem" per se but it's not "weird" to find better ways to do things. I want my vehicle, whatever it is, to be versatile. There's really no downside to the pass through.

It’s at the expense of not having a center console. I also prefer to keep dirty dusty things like building materials outside of my truck. That’s why I have a truck in the first place.
