    Hello Friends!

I'm about to change the shifter bushings in my Gen 1 Tacoma, but I don't know what grease I should use to regrease the housing and everything once I've taken everything out.

    Thoughts?

I replaced mine a couple of weeks ago. The bushings I got from Brice here were prelubed with SuperLube. Not sure what kind of lube was on the stock bushings as mine were shot.

Eveything else I lubed with SuperLube also cause that's what I had. I use SuperLube for all sorts of stuff & it works great for me. The shifter assy originally had what looked like a white lithium type grease, it was heavily applied in some areas & drying out. I didn't apply the SuperLube as excessively but enough of it. So far so good for me & I'm not worried about. If you have white lithium grease on hand already I would just use that (not the aerosol stuff though).

Remains to be seen I bought the tires and wheels the rest came along
I just use a light coat of the multi purpose Chassis grease

    It does not take much.

+1 for Superlube. Always have a tube in my toolbox and one in my grease gun.
