What do you have in place of the garnish there? And has there been an alternate “cheapest way of finding the garnish by itself” solution yet?

I have the OEM garnish, the sun is just reflecting off of it in the picture, which makes it hard to see.

I’m not aware of a cheap way to get the OEM garnish by itself, yet — I bought the entire TRD lift kit, which comes with the grille, garnish, and TSS sensor. While Toyota sells the grille from the lift kit as a stand-alone part, the garnish that comes in the lift is sold bundled with a bunch of other parts for the lift (u bolts, hardware, etc).

Does anyone have a link for the correct oem garnish?
Has anyone come up with a connector to just delete the tss? Is that possible?

This is too funny! I was literally shopping for the TRD Pro Grille and hadn't seen this pricing. When I enter in my 2020 TRD OR vehicle information it states that it will not fit. Any one able to confirm?

It’ll fit. The pro grilles fit any gen 3. The “fit” calculator on the Toyota parts websites isn’t very reliable. Half the stuff I’ve put on my truck said it wouldn’t fit lol

I’m pretty sure this is it, but the price is insane. Unfortunately, anyone buying a pro grille is still going to have to decide if the want to overpay for an OEM garnish, or go aftermarket.

My 2017 doesn't have TSS. If I order this, what will I need to fill the hole, if I don't have TSS?

I had the FreshMexicanTaco grill on the truck for 2yrs with no complaints...until the taco went in for service and the dealer washed it without fully rinsing off the soap on an extremely hot day (35C). The soap ended up eating through the finish on the grill.

Dealership replaced my aftermarket grill with an OEM Toyota piece and honestly I don't see any difference in quality.

Wow looks good! I don't have the TSS sensor so no issue there....unless this grill doesn't fit a 2017??

I like those wheels by the way

The price definitely makes me smile! Wonder if the lettering comes black or if we'll need to vinyl over them with a color...

Taco Garage has the garnish for 50$ - It wont fill the void where the TSS box sits in but it will cover the hole with the illusion you have the TSS box behind it..

So if I purchase a grill from the aforementioned link and this TSS garnish, I am good to go?

It should be a fine fitment, however to be on the safe side, I'd give tacao garage a call and ask. It'd save a good 250$ from the OEM garnish going for $300+.

It is an aftermarket garnish. It does have a bronze shade.

Haha OP created an account, made one post and went MIA two days later. Too bad old/highly redundant threads don't get combined or locked.
