Speaking of Turd Gens...but also for certain T4Rs and for 2nd Gen Tacos...I'm coordinating with the local Overlander Tailor Tunes guy (out of Orange, VA) and trying to get this Turd tuned for the better, figured if any of you guys wanted to jump on it, we could coordinate a meet up spot that wouldn't be too unreasonable for all involved. It apparently does a subjectively (from TW feedback I've been reading) better job with low and mid range torque, but of course any tune is better than this stock toyota (mis)tune. I am interested in the ECU deleting 5th gear as an overdrive option for pulling the camper trailer or the utility trailer...plus anything that'll keep it holding highway gears at highway speeds can only be an improvement.

Anyways I mentioned it on the NOVA thread, but this page seems even more active than it...oh yeah HAPPY F&#KING HOLIDAY WEEKEND FRIDAY!

Guy just came and looked at the Jeep. Seemed real interested. Fingers crossed.

Put it on Autotrader earlier. Five minutes later, here come the scammers.

That's a horrible idea. What time?
Look for a TDY over here. Maybe get you foot in the door. There hasn't been a lot of direct hiring for here unless it's been internals from ports. Keep your good eye open.

Does the good eye ever close??

I apply for stuff. Nothing yet. I'm also working on something internal. Ideally, I'd like to get away from the subject matter I work with. I've been doing it too long, it's not terribly exciting, and it was only supposed to be a foot in the door.

I could taste the sarcasm. I just couldn’t miss a chance to rag on a 3rd gen.

I seem to make some pretty bad car choices. Apparently, I'm attracted to minivan motors.

They have been a cultural icon your whole life. It’s hard not to trust the symbol of the American family.

Have you read about them? They are taller than 35”. So they would be closer to most 37’s.

    Not 3?

Just two. One to shit on. One to cover it up.

I have no idea what that means. This old dude I used to work with said it all the time. His name was Hot Rod.

That's a lot of tire. Now you have to get them we we can see you crawl or jump at 100 mph's on 37's.

The 35’s measure in around 36” and I can keep my wheels. But the the 37x 11.50 is tempting.
