Got a 25L dry bag, strapped tent to it. I need a smaller sleeping pad though. Gotta return the one i have.

Then need to do a test run. Also need to make a bracket for left side of bike. Don't like how the bag hangs. I put all of my camp stuff in, and these 12L bags have plenty of more room.

Other than that, basically ready for a test run to see if i got everything.

Compression would tell you a little, leak down would tell you more. First step for sure, figure out exactly where it's coming from

And again, it's a 40+ year old bike, i'd be amazed if it didn't have a leak or two

That tent is huge. Laughable that they call that a backpacking tent. Even when I was younger and didn’t care about weight I wouldn’t have dreamt of carrying that monster.

Weight wise, no, but the overall package size is huge. My two man tent with poles is about a roll about 12” long and 5” wide packed. It’s definitely a roomy one man tent or a guy and girlfriend tent though, definitely not for two full-size dudes.

Ah ok. Yea it seems pretty big compared to a Wally World tent i had previously. My wife hasn't been camping with me in a while, and i really don't think she would on the bike

Well the last few days have been crazy. Sold the KTM Wednesday, got a call from the dealer Thursday in which I expected them to say it was going to be x amount of weeks until the bike arrives. Well they called yesterday to tell me the bike arrived that morning. Brought it home today.

you mean lighter and better performing offroad?

got my new fastway bark busters on last night. Tapping the bars is no joke.

    None... yet.
Took the bike up to Skyline Drive Friday evening. Realized I'd never been up there on a bike other than the F4i... might've shed a tear or two... but the FZ is fun AND comfy!

Today I got the bike to, and over, 10k! It had 8,6xx when I bought it, so it only about averaged about 580 miles a year prior to me! Man, that is satisfying to look at!
