My pizza pan. It makes amazing crust. It requires a lot of care but I think it's worth it. I used flap disked on a corded Milwaukee angle grinder. Then sanding disks on an orbital sander. Finally, Flap felt disks with jewelers rouge.

Yo, now I have concerns about the pizzas you’ve eaten. I was talking generalities and you bring in specifics. This is a semi unsafe, semi controlled space, you can talk to us with no sense of security. Let it out, brethren.

What would happen if you seasoned it like a normal guy?

It is seasoned. BUT....

This picture was my first attempt at seasoning it. It worked very very well but the seasoning would flake off too easily. I finally ended up wet sanding it down to 1000 grit which worked much better.

It's still much easier to clean then a regular cast iron pan. I usually just add a little oil to the pan and scrub it with a paper towel. Cheese will sometimes stick a little if it burns but it's not hard to get it off.

I've had the pan for a year now and love it. I'm planning on replacing all my normal pans with carbon steel ones. They should have similar results minus the heavy cast iron part.

My wife would file for divorce if I did that to her seasoned cast iron pans....
