It's been a long time since I've had an Old Milwaukee, I remember mom coming home from the grocery store and liquor store with a case of Old Milwaukee. The 12oz returnable bottle in the heavy cardboard case.

I've only ever used 5/4 boards for decking. I think 2x6s are way overkill for deck boards; 5/4 boards also look way better. The deck joists on the back of my house were 24" on center when I bought the house. That was a bit too far apart, and the boards were a bit flexy, so I added additional joists, making them 12" on center, which took away all the flex. So I think you'd be just fine on a 16" center.

No Sue i dont have one written down. you heat milk and add an acid like vinegar or lemon juice, let stay warm for a while,it currdles the milk. let it set, pour in a cheese cloth, squeeze out remaining liquid. add alittle salt and bam,you have ricotta.im sure you can goggle it for a recipe on temp, how much milk and vinegar

Made it up here safe, 14hrs.

A racoon dashed out in front of the truck, I hoped it made it to the middle of the truck...but both front and back tires hit it.

We had a pack of four going through my back yard almost every night for months. I have watched them grow to big fat ones over the summer on my camera.

Good morning. A forecasted high of 86 and humid here. I mowed the lawn yesterday so I don't really care how hot and humid it gets. After my morning walk with the dog, my outdoor time will consist of walking back and forth to the truck to go to the store and getting the mail at the end of our driveway.

A little of this and a little of that.
    Good morning :hattip:

    Dukes!

    Fantastic Mike!

Cold brew and Merle, good times.

I've used 5/4 deck boards and joists 16" on center shouldn't be "flexy". Good to go.

Never heard of Sleeman's, but Old Milwaukee is down here.

One less dumpster diver...enjoy your time at the Villa.

Good morning all. Enjoying a cup of coffee during the quiet time while the rest of the house sleeps in. Daughter is going back to school today. And a sailboat awaits for this afternoon.

Used them many times, always with 16” oc joists, it’s the standard up here for decks, and they take decent snow#loads up here too. I’ve also used composite 5/4 boards like Trex, and they are a very little bit flexible, but you don’t really notice, and the beauty is you’ll never have to paint the deck ever again….means a lot after 50.
