    When are you finally choosing?

Granted Rigid/Ryobi/Milwaukee are owned by the same parent company, they're not built the same.

I really like a lot of their stuff there, especially the last tool I got from them which was my die grinder.

Hoping to buy a fan from them tomorrow if they have any in stock.

I think they're pretty good, Hercules finally put out a 1/2 impact earlier this year. No more Chicago Electric impact for me lol

Oh they've got plenty of stuff that's a big step up from Chicago Electric.

Thanks for reminding me of the Hercules brand, may grab one of those instead of the Bauer I planned to buy for a small, plug-in fan.

Apparently, Hercules batteries use Samsung cells.

We had a few older ones that would only last mere minutes at my last job. But we were very hard on our tools. All the rubber jacketing had melted off the M18 fuel drills...

That and the shit drill chucks are actually what convinced us to switch to Dewalt. Way better luck out of them.

Yeah Chicago Electric is as cheap as cheap gets lol. Only advantage is their exchange policy is pretty good if it breaks but that's not much help if you need to rely on your shit for a living.

That impact served me well for truck stuff but I'm looking forward to not having to deal with a corded one anymore, the Herc brand is supposed to be more powerful too.

I can't seem to make a commitment to any tool brand. Surprisingly, I've never had a bad battery but there's been a few tools of all colors crap out after a few good rodgerings.

My favorite tool right now is the Milwaukee 1/2" impact with the 12ah battery jammed in it. It's the simple things. I even went full douche and got the rubber jacket. Two years and it has violently twisted some heavy duty, nasty shit off. I like it a lot:laughing:

Milwaukee's treated me really well, especially my impact.

That thing happened to sit in the snow and rain for a bit longer than I intended...still working the same another 2 years after that.
