Idk if yall are going to rip my head off or anything, but what if I did what OP did ...like 4 fill ups. Do you think that would ruin your canister? Does the canister clear itself out overtime if you never do it again?

Simple solution: Fill the bed with gas too. It seems you encounter this problem every time you visit a gas station. By filling the bed with gas you would reduce your visits to said gas station and this problem won’t occur as frequently.

If you stop doing it you’ll be fine. I’ve been “two clicking” for the past 6 1/2 years, but that doesn’t fill the neck completely.

    Then again…

The last time I filled a running vehicle was a 13K diesel forklift during Desert Storm.

So what are the symptoms of a flooded canister from topping it off? Justin Tenmoe Miles wants to know… :anonymous:

I don't know about NY, but I've never seen a MA gas station that doesn't allow self fill. There are full service stations, but not a lot of them. Unless there is some weird town (it's MA so there are many weird towns).

I'm old and I want to move from a 1st gen to a 3rd gen, to reduce the wrenching I need to do. But threads like this remind me I am not mentally strong enough to own a 3rd gen and be able to post in the 3rd gen section. You guys scare me.

It's all feathers and bluster - they ruffle their crests to make themselves appear larger than they really are. They can't actually hurt you.

False. They can and will hurt you. Only way to fend off the evil spirits is with DQ Blizzards.
