I know I know there are tons of pages about this and I have looked threw many. I am wondering if there is anyone with my setup that can give me advice. I know I'll have to trim and all that jazz but I have 16 TRD Pro rims and I am going to buy some 285s but I am worried they might rub on my UCAs. From what I can find the backspacing is 11mm and offset is 4mm. Is there anyone running this combo that can tell me if I'm going to need wheel spacers or anything additional? Does anyone know how much backspacing/offset is needed to clear the UCAs?

Really depends on the tire you get as well, there is no cookie cutter answer to your question. The best answer is, mount them up and inspect.

Yeah I was hoping someone with the same rims and tire size could chime in but I figured it a long shot. I was hoping to order some stuff before I get the tires mounted so I could move along faster. I have my factory rims sitting around so it doesn't matter to much if it takes me a week or so to figure it all out.

At first I thought you were telling me to try 70in tires  (I'm clearly tired today) I thought about that too but there isn't much for options in a 285/70

Are you planning on re-gearing and doing the cmc?

Yes on CMC I have plates for it just haven't done it yet along with folding the pinch weld. Re-gear will come later down the road. I don't think factory gears will be to bad for the time being. Once I get more armor and a trailer I think it will be a must.

Well they fit with minimal trimming of plastics! for road driving that is. I gotta flex it out to see everything but didn't need a cab mount chop yet and hardly took anything off the front. The TRD Pro 16inch wheels clear the UCA perfectly which is what I was most worried about. Also I have SPC UCAs but I don't know what setting they are of to be honest. They are pretty well centered in the wheel well also.
