That corded Chicago electric impact was my main squeeze for a solid 2 years of working under the table repairing shit and living out of my van. Had a 2000w inverter to power it lol.

Used it in the snow and the rain as well, plus it lived on a shelf next to my head in the van. There's so much condensation that develops inside a rig without insulation when you sleep in it, it might as well have been out in the pouring rain every night:laughing:

Only thing that sucked was the fact it was like 2 freekin feet long lol it sucked having to pull the front clip off of everything you work on just to get it in there

My old corded Dewalt was the size of a torpedo with a handle. Took some serious abuse until she snuck off a scissor lift and took her own life.

We have nothing but Milwaukee and we abuse the living shit out of them. I drop press gun, cutters, guns off ladders all the time. I broke a cutter yesterday, Have been through 2 grinders on my truck, and a hammer drill took a shit last week (serial number gone though) You just have to submit serial number and open a repair order online and then send to them. They send new tool for free. Its pretty nice. FYI, take pics of all your serial numbers and keep them somewhere cause if you can't read, they won't warrantee.

Definitely! Yellow, red and blue have always sent me a new tool even after warranty in some cases.

I didn't even know there was a warrantee period. We did a few that had to have been 2-3 years old. My step brother does the warrantee shit so idk the process entirely. Just know we get new shit every time we send them one.

Yeah I can't say that I've ever bothered to read the warranty and it's usually after 2-3 years that my busted shit gets sent in. I just assumed it was well past their coverage.

We go through corded hammer drills like 12 packs. Hilti, Bosch, Dewalt...they never make it more than a few months.

We don't fuck with cords. The milwaukee 18v's don't play around. I doubt you have broke more than 1 of them unless you did concrete work all day. We have only had 1 fail in 7 years. We have like 7 of them from smallest to the big boy sds plus. We use them pretty much every day too.

Only one to break. The OG first one. Been dropped off the lift like a million times.

Try to keep a couple cordless on hand for convenience. Otherwise, it needs to be corded.

the sw20 chassis has a pretty well known issue where a factory splice near the fuse block comes apart and now you have no power to the ecm. my new ecm receives power from the same wire. its likely the cause. easy fix. but i didnt have time tonight
