I think it is still closed but I could be wrong - this bulletin is 6 years old now

    thanks squamishdroc.
the elevation closure you referenced should exclude the china head, yalakom and Mud lake fsrs.
new fire related area closures along west pavilion fsr too.
FN blockade may still be on Yalakom fsr.
im concerned with water depths at mud lake and upper churn cr ford site.
i dont want to bog down in heavy mud or short out the 4x4 actuator! grrrr.
drove part of the china head fsr on french bar end approx a month ago.
reports by others was snow depth blocking through route.
august should be good to go but would prefer trip report before i head out again

I am trying to head over to Clinton next week to visit a friend and was going to go over the Hurley and up to Mud Lakes and then back down around Carpenter Lk and up to the reaction ferry etc. Driving around Mud lake can always be a bit nerve racking due to the narrow and off camber sections of the road - definitely not the best route to take alone. Will have to keep an eye on the fire situation for sure.

Anyone know why North Shore gas stations are randomly closed at the pumps in the last few weeks? Shortage? Trucker dispute? Gov trying a scare tactic?

Gotcha…. Weird that the media isn’t reporting in it at all. Kinda what I figured too; but too lazy to pull-in, get out and look.

Fuel seems to be back everywhere here. Just in time for a price hike as we run into Labour Day I suspect.

Good time to head to the Island and the to Oregon Coast!

Have you tried Alder Steel in Aldergrove?
I haven’t bought from them in a few years but they’ve always been good when I did.

I usually go to Metalsupermarket in Richmond. They have pretty good stock.

    There is one in Langley.
