Didn’t find anything dead, only removed a couple panels. There is bird seed and evidence of a mouse throughout the car. I think they were using it as a bathroom

 

Spent the day doing my wife's brakes in a 2011 camry, fought with the rear rotor for a good bit before I remembered I had to loosen the ebrake adjustment

 

My mother in law has a newer highlander. Like a year old. Had a
Mouse in it, dead, all dried up. I hope its a one off and not a bigger problem.

They are boat people so I bet it found its way in when she left the doors open while loading or unloading. And the thing fried in the heat.

 

I told the service writer that the car needs a full detail. I don’t know if they want me to start pulling interior.

 

Not a car but...our microwave also functions as the kitchen range hood and vents via some ductwork to outside. Fan stopped working. Dropped it down to investigate and found what I can only describe as a murder/suicide. Yuck.

Good morning CT. Happy and a cool 58° Saturday.
I started the fire extinguisher mount yesterday when I got home. I need to start drilling holes and see what size spacers I'm going to need.
After that I'm going to lengthen the wire for the air pump, and see about adding another bracket from the pump mount to the inner fender.

I picked up some 3/4" PCV elbows from Autozone yesterday. That should help in making a hose to connect the pump and valve.

In the middle of the fire extinguisher mount and my restock kit got delivered for the first aid kit. Many items were expired.

 

Happy Saturday! Hoping to get the kiddos and the wife out to the Goshen Fair later today.

Finger got worse. Fun lesson.

 

If it was my finger I'd consider the hot needle through the nail trick to relieve the pressure

 

Its not too bad from a pain perspective unless I bump it on something.

Putting my 7 month old daughter to bed last night was a challenge. Was using that hand to hold the bottle and she kept grabbing the bad finger. So id switch hands, then my other hand would get tired and id switch back until she would get it again.

 

I use a micro jewelers drill that you spin between your fingers.
It's gotten a lot of use over the years.

 

Well ,we are ready to go to Hammonassett tomorrow but the weather is looking like crap . Hopefully the weather people are wrong .
