Anyone know of the best source for a replacement fob & key blanks for 2003 Tacoma with factory remote locks option? They have ones that match my current ones on Ebay, but was just wondering who might have an alternate source they've used. Dealer is too $$$.

Edit: I actually have two working fobs, but one needs a new case if that is an available option.

Maybe work with a different dealer? I bought 2 from Toyota for ~$45 each. That seemed pretty reasonable to me

Thanks. I found a replacement fob case at NAPA, and will pick that up later today. As far as keys, I found oem Toyota blank keys on Ebay, and will have the locksmith I usually go to cut them. I also ordered a Toyota oem complete replacement fob, also from Ebay. I've watched several videos, and the programming looks pretty easy.

You may have a keyless entry. It’s usually behind the two auxiliary power ports.

I'll have to check that this weekend sometime! If I don't have one is it something that can easily be added? Assuming the parts are still available.

I bought 2 new keys cut at the dealer for 5$ each. My original key was so worn out they had to use some code I assume off my vin to cut them.

Since you already have power door locks it should be very easy to install. Google RS3000 keyless entry module. They’re still around. When you get the module it will have a FCC#. Get your key fobs with the same FCC#.
