Paid $350, so far I really like it, as long as no check engine lights come on, I'm very satisfied 20220611_133722.jpg

i love the tune i recently had installed. it would be cool to be able to drive a tacoma with a different tune other than the one i got to see how they differ. Im sure there are several people here who have had multiple tunes installed. would like to know which ones they prefer, or if there isnt a lot of difference between them

Does the tune help at all with MPG's for a manual? or is it mainly just for the automatic guys to stop the gear hunting issue?

I think this totally depends on the tune and provider. Some of the manual guys swear by the increased performance and even some improved mpgs…. But none guarantee increased mpg.

I offer remote tuning for the KDMAX Pro group so if you are ANYWHERE and looking for what we offer (KDMAX Pro+XT is the current version) just let me know. I have a few flexible options I can work with owners on to get you set!!

...and the truck setup and the driver. All in all, any well-known tune is going to benefit the MTs also but be more specific to the low end per gear "pull" and of course throttle settings. They certainly make the MT's easier to drive and do provide owners with a nice bump in usable power.

i can’t say from experience for manual, since mine is an AT.
what I can say from experience is that it has helped mine. paired with 4.88’s, I now average 19-22 highway with 35s. And I live in Hawaii, so it’s not really a highway lol. I’d say that’s pretty darn good

    edit: typo

of course it is, just like the latest KDMAX Pro
Seriously though, the major tunes are just so competitive now it is coming down to price and service. I personally feel I deliver on both and I hope each perspective buyer feels the same about whomever they go with and whatever tune they get setup with. If not let me know, I am willing to help :)

If you feel like making a trip up to Jax, or you're ever in the area, I'll gladly let you test out Blackhawk. I would just need your current tune file from whoever tuned you initially in the event you preferred it over the one I offer.
