Picked up another Icon bearing kit for contingency, in case the reducer bushings crack again. Icon P/N 611067



These have FK-branded COM-10T bearings and stainless spirolox-style snap rings. No pliers needed. Oddly, while PartsEngine shows it to be on clearance, they had to transfer from a US warehouse. Ordered late July; received this week.

Colorado high country definitely not the place to be if you don’t like heights. Hard to get the full effect but there are big exposures on some of the narrow shelf roads.

I'd spend the whole day right at that location. And if I could I'd camp there too.. WOW..

 

Wow in very direction on that pass for sure. You can camp up there in good weather but being up there in a lightning storm is no bueno.
