You can look on the map, and yes, that's strange it got held up in Santa Rita, since mine went from manufacture to Santa Rita, then to the Port of Veracruz pretty quickly. Maybe something happened to it, getting it to Santa Rita...

Drove through the lot of my local Toyota dealer, saw zero vehicles that sparked my interest. One of the sales guy said the used cars are starting to sit, and it appears the prices are not climbing as much but also some are dropping in price. He also said that some people are still paying over MSRP in some sales.. crazy..

My build date is scheduled for 9/8. Anyone know when the official 2023 builds will begin? Curious if mine will be a 22 or 23.

Mine is scheduled for 05-Sep and it is a 2022. You can tell by looking at the 10th position of the temporary VIN number; if it is "N", then your Tacoma is a 2022, if it is "P", then it is a 2023. Further up thread there is someone who posted a VIN for a "Week 36 Build" (ours are Week 34 Builds), and that VIN is clearly showing a "P" in the tenth byte.

My fear is Rod03 has seen no movement from the factory to Vera Cruz, so I’m afraid I’ll miss the RORO arriving Tuesday, the 6th and returning to the New Jersey port:(:(

Went to the Toyota place on the Vegas strip after calling and asking to order a 2022 Off-Road if he didn't have it already, the dealer shows me used 2020 trucks, held my keys hostage, and lied about the features.

After 5 hours of waiting, I had to talk to a manager while the salesman took 15 minutes to retrieve my keys.

Then I went to the dealership close to Henderson and had a new truck within three hours, everything I wanted.

The dealership you pick really makes a difference.

My guess is that the dealerships get a certain number of Truck models and are willing to loose a customer if they already have enough orders waiting.

My new Tactic with car salesmen is tell them upfront "NO BS" and do not waist my time. You don't have to be nasty, but just let them know that you don't want to be jerked around with shady tactics, and tell them that you will call them out on it.

Hopefully this is the last truck that I will ever buy.

Well guys, my journey for a Tacoma has come to a close, but not because my truck arrived, lol. I went in to renew the rental on the dealers 4Runner on Friday and they had a '22 4Runner TRD Pro sitting on the lot in MGM. Jokingly told them what I would give them for it........and a couple hours later driving home in the new 4runner. Outside of the hood/door PPF, console safe, and Interior LED Upgrade, I got it for MSRP. They had a 10k market adjustment, but since I have been waiting since June for my Tacoma, they took it off. If I want they will buy back the 4Runner when the Tacoma comes in if I want the Limited Nightshade instead. Pretty stoked that I lucked out. Good luck to all you guys waiting out there I know your pain.IMG_0840.jpgEDFF3DBA-8293-4CB1-A20F-551B8CE5DA67.jpg37F28D38-23AC-429F-A0D2-7EEA85DFF7CC.jpg

Hi @Rod03, when you can, can you provide me an update on 3TYCZ5AN4NT32A655. Curious of the actual build date and what the status is with regards to expected delivery date. Dealer said expected delivery would be by end of this month. Thanks!

Hey @Rod03, I suspect my vehicle is on a train now based on app alerts, would you mind checking up on it for me? Thank you so much again. JTETU5JR2N6085838

I know this is such a noob question, but I won't know if I don't ask. What app are you talking about to track movement? I downloaded the Toyota app, typed in the VIN, then it started asking me questions about a vehicle I technically don't "own" yet -- stuff for the Toyota connnect services, etc. I got a bit spooked and backed off before I started the engine on a truck in some factory parking lot! :D

Its a SE Toyota, I can only see the spec sheet. Looks like the build date was 08/11, that is all I got.

Nothing is coming up with the VIN, it may already be build and need the Perm.
