How much room for activities do you have in your yard?

The missus and I are looking for acreage but we have the agreement I can't turn field into junkyard :rofl:if I can afford to put up a pole building I can fill that, but nothing can be visible

Great guess, it's just under 2 cords. I always try to have this much ready for winter. We don't burn it constantly but if the power is out for a few days do to a blizzard or what not I'd rather be ready. I also have a generator if we need it.

I don't have land but I have a spot to put it out front haha. I'm still not in a long-term house yet, hopefully in the next few years. But I have room to swing two vehicles. Have you been finding anything decent on your searches over here? Or will you already the land when you get here, I can't remember

@eon_blue I was wrong. Everyone is here this weekend. I had to run over to the Rubicon staging aria to to help out a friend. Took me over an hour to get there and it was in the low 90s

The vehicle acrobatics I see attempted blow my mind. Nevermind any care whatsoever for lawns/private driveways/fire hydrants etc.

We've found a fair amount of apartment complexes that would work for us but haven't applied anywhere since it's still so far out. Coming out in Oct to put actual boots on the ground and inspect stuff. Figured we'd be out there for a year before buying anything.

I've got ancestral land in Northern VA but it's too small and too remote to start out there

    I believe it haha

It was a sketchy place.. Original owner/my boss of that rental yard used to drive around on his golf cart and hand out screwdrivers to employees made with grain alcohol  this was also back when you could still smoke a cigarette around open gas cams inside the shop. Nothing like being the new guy and having one of your jobs be dumping the ashtrays of the inside sales and counter guys

Yeah we ended up going to the Yuba River today and there were hundreds of people along the river banks. I saw a little kid chuck an empty can of coke into the river. We need a Purge

Yea were setting up shop on the east coast, it'll cut down on shipping costs cause most of our customers are east of the Mississippi River. We've settled on southwest VA. Good middle ground for work and close enough to be an uncle for my brother's kid and the missus friends and distant family
