Yea thought about both but in my trade (electrical) the light would probably get the most use both at work and can possibly take camping to light up the grill while cooking.

    You're telling me, I'm a welder

The saw came in handy for small projects cutting lumber for shelving, and random board for the neighbor.

The mini cut off tool was handy for stuck nuts or bolts, cutting small tack welds, cutting pipe, and other misc. things.

I kept considering adding the light to the stable, but I found the top off tool as my favorite camping tool yet. Pair that with some LED rope lighting (got that on clearance) and you've got lighting that'll last multiple nights with no drain on a 5.0 battery.

Thats what’s cool, milwaukee has tools for all trades.

I just bought the m18 top off tool last week (well company cc bought it) haha. Told them I needed it to keep my iPad etc charged on jobsites lol. Was wondering how it will work while out camping, thanks for the idea

It stays in my cart at work since it's been a few months now that we've gone camping.

I use the USB port to keep my phone or wireless headphones charged and just swap batteries every 2 days.

The outlets that hang from the ceiling are for angle grinders, welding machines, etc.

Whenever multiple people join us, I'd bring another 1 or 2 M18 batteries. You'll see one of my Pack Outs on the table there (far right).

Yea the Jackery 1000 is for my Dometic 75DZ fridge. We use it for trips in both the Tacoma and my wife’s 4Runner. Just comes in handy.

The top off is one of favorites for camping. Lighting, charging phones etc. 50' of string lights burns right at 1A/hr, so an 8Ah goes 8 hours. I usually only bring 50' when just me, but the full 100' when we are sharing a spot. Works pretty damn well and in such a small package...

Are those just regular string lights with bulbs? I have a new box in my garage I was actually thinking about giving a shot for camping.

Yes. Just make sure they are LED lights if you want any usable time. Incandescent bulbs will blow through batteries.

I ended up putting them to the test by seeing how long they'd last on my deck (first pic) before putting them to use in the field. Wanted to see if the math worked out. I'd recommend doing the same if you have time.

I just went back and looked. The 1A/hr rate is for the 50' string (not the 100'). Didn't want to have people count on the wrong numbers.

Yeah I wouldn't buy the rocket light for camping, and considering I have all the tools I could use from that bundle, I'd *almost* opt for the smaller light or speaker.

Going to try the brushless weed eater and m18 6.0ah for $179 I’m 65% certain. My Ryobi ones are nice but they just are too short, and I’m a short person so they must just be really annoying for others.

Still, that's a lot of light!

I like leaving the top off tool hanging on the pop up, and a long usb cable in case I need to plug in my speaker or phone to charge.

An old lantern sits on any extra table for ambient light.

I have a grinder, but also thinking the cut off tool would be nice, more compact. That was going to be my second choice.

Was thinking about the same deal, but I currently have a electric weed eater that seems to be working fine. But will probably be my Choice when mine takes a dump.
