initial impact will be directed to lower radiator support and frame, the more expensive parts to replace. Modern vehicles disintegrate upon impact by design, to shed off energy and keep occupants safe. I'd rather replace grills, bumper covers, and headlights, then directly directing energy to the frame,,,, loose loose situation.

your truck isnt lifted, you dont need entry steps on the slider to get into the truck.
if you go off roading they will tear off. also i would get rid of the push bar setup you have
and maybe go for something more low profile if you really need one. otherwise, nice!

I like the brush guard and love the 2.7L. Our company trucks drive rough lease roads and have occasional low speed (less than 35 mph) impacts with wildlife (feral hogs and deer). Clean off the animal hair and apply flat black Rustoleum, and good to go (the mounting brackets bend before the truck frame). I don’t doubt that a 70+ mph collision would be devastating, but they absolutely add value for low speed impacts even though many yahoos on TW don’t see the value in them.
