We're like twinsies! I did trailer mods too. Mostly just painted. And mounting the license plate

For some stupid reason the trailer came with an offset license plate from the dealer. Centering it pleased my attention to detail.

Weird. The rental yard didn't use the small plates so they welded an ear on to fit the bigger plate. And moved the light.

I wish I could have a small plate on mine, I just think it looks nicer. Those are only for 4,000 or less gross weight though. How big is your trailer?

Just a small 4x8 utility trailer. Six of them could probably fit on yours.

You can blame him, but @Justanotherhemi wasn't the one that actually did the install now was he? :boink:

I've got a 5 lb propane tank, 10' hose and stainless steel bracket from powertank for sale for $100 if anyone is interested.

Are those special order? I looked at 4xinnovations a while ago and I swore those doors were marked "not for Access Cab". Or is that just a legal disclaimer in case the suicide door pops open in a crash?

Idk why their site says that, it’s simply just incorrect. These bolt right up.

I can't remember if it was this thread or another, did you switch to the rubber flooring?

I didn't. I originally tore out my OEM carpet and bedlined my floor when the carpet got ruined from an offroad incident. That was entirely too loud so I put some aftermarket carpet in there. It was such a bitch to install. If that carpet ever needs replacing, I'm putting in the rubber flooring.

That's right, I remember you did something to the floors. It was another build that went rubber. My memory is like a steel sieve, only random things get caught in it.

Switching up my build and thinking I'm going buy the same lightbar for a chase light as well on my truck. I like it because I frequently stop on the highway/road to help others and always turn on my flashing chase lights and rear backup lights in addition to my hazard lights for safety. Also don't feel like spending $450+ for the Baja RTL or KC equivalent. How do you like it so far? I was reading everything it has on Amazon, but 2 questions- does it have a steady on mode without flashing, and how do you change between the 48 flash patterns?

Don't know if I'd want to put the controller box in my sunglass holder, but I don't see a better option as of now. Other option for me is just to mount my S2 lights on the prinsu rack and negate the need for a lightbar

I recently sold my whole prinsu but I will honestly miss the lightbar because it was so cool.

On the controller, there’s a button you press to cycle through the modes and it has memory so it saves your pattern for next time. Yes it can be solidly illuminated and it’s easy to get to as well. You hold down the mode button for 5 seconds and it reverts to solid.

Is this still your list of tools for trips, @EatSleepTacos ? This one is from late 2020 and I'm not sure if you have another one you're updating behind the scenes.

Oh fuck I honestly have no idea, I would have to go look in my truck and update it. It’s not far off though.
