So I have asked around and was hoping I might get more concrete answers here.

recently my cruise control would intermittently turn on but not every time. Well it has gotten to the point where I can’t turn it on at all anymore. Friend of mine suggested clock spring but my horn and everything else still work so I don’t know if that’s it.

Also when I was able to get it to turn on I was able to set the speed no problem.

    Any ideas?

Mine is the same way. It will work from time to time, and I think it's tied to the Vehicle Speed Sensor A. That sensor is somehow affecting the instrument cluster. Although I have used a toner and tracer and traced the wires down to a park/Neutral sensor mounted on the trans. I have researched YouTube and other websites, all stating it's the cluster.

Does the cruise light turn on and off with the switch?

Try holding the on/off button down and turning the steering wheel at the same time, if it comes on then it's your clock spring.

I'm having the same problem. It's been about a year now but I never researched it. Randomly the cruise control just completely stopped working. But I almost never used it before. But now that I have a trailer to tow, it'll come in handy on long trips in the slow lane. Going to go home and research the problem after work
